Computation of conservation laws associated with the Maxwell equations by means of the quasi self adjoint method

In this paper and by applying the quasi self adjoint method, introduced by Ibragimov in 2011, we construct some conservation laws of the Maxwell equations in vacuum. Notice that since the number of equations is not equal to that of the unknowns in this system, one never finds any certain Lagrangian associated to it. Nevertheless, by omitting two equations, one receives a certain reduced system of differential equations having quasi self adjointness and appropriate to apply Ibragimov’s method for constructing its associated conservations laws without necessitating any Lagrangian. This subsequently gives as well some conservation laws of the Maxwell equations. It may be worth to notice that Ibragimov, himself, has computed some conservation laws of the Maxwell equations by means of the self adjoint method in 2009. Nevertheless, due to the fact that in contrary to the quasi self adjoint method, it is possible to construct the Lagrangian associated with the reduced system of equations, thus the approach of quasi self adjointness employed in this paper includes some partly different complexities.

Common fixed points in Menger probabilistic metric spaces
Razieh
Farokhzad
Fixed point theory of nonexpansive type single valued mappings provides techniques for solving a variety of applied problems in mathematical sciences and engineering. The aim of this paper is to prove the existence of coincidence points, coupled points and common coupled fixed points of nonexpansive type conditions satisfied by single valued maps which include both continuous and discontinuous mappings on Menger probabilistic metric spaces.

On α-ω-Meir-Keeler contractive Mappings
Mohadeseh
Paknazar
In this paper, in the setting of modular metric spaces, we introduce the class of Meir-Keeler contractive and we establish some results of fixed point. As consequences of these results, we deduce fixed point theorems in modular metric spaces endowed with a graph and in partially ordered metric spaces. Some examples are furnished to demonstrate the validity of the obtained results.

The pseudo-spectral method based on the reproducing kernel Hilbert spaces for solving the nonlinear Klein-Gordon problem

In this paper, a pseudo-spectral method based on the reproducing kernels of Hilbert spaces will be introduced to solve the nonlinear Klein-Gordon problem. In order to approximate the spatial derivatives of the problem, we use the operational matrices obtained by the reproducing kernels of Hilbert spaces and also a fourth order Runge-Kutta method is used to discretize the time domain. Using reproducing kernel Hilbert space operational matrices and enforce the basis functions to satisfy the boundary conditions exactly are the main advantages of the proposed method. Several examples are presented to illustrate the efficiency and ability of the method for solving nonlinear time dependent problems.

Modeling and analysis of terrorist behavior

Contrary to governments, terrorist groups may not finance themselves through taxes, or recruit their military human resources. Instead, they resort to ideological attractions in order to attract military forces and financial support, in order to perform their operations. In this paper, using game theory, we have modeled various terrorism behaviors, showing that complete annihilation of terrorism is not possible via game theory. Also, we have modeled best decisions made by governments, confronting this problem.

In this paper, we introduce a system of fractional differential equations in the sense of the Prabhakar fractional derivative and by applying the Laplace transform we get the solution of the system with respect to the Mittag-Leffler function with three parameters. For obtaining the existence and uniqueness of the solution, we construct the sequence of iterates for the solution and by using the Picard-Lindelof theorem, we prove the existence and uniqueness of the solution of the system. Finally, we give an example by using the stated theorem.

On locally symmetry on 2-dimensional Riemannian manifolds

n this paper, we are going to derive some necessary and efficient conditions for a 2-dimensional Riemannian curve to be locally symmetric. These conditions are free of Lie group discussions and thus could be apply for 2-dimensional computations on surfaces without dealing with Lie groups concepts and improve intuitive observations. Also, we deal with equivalent conditions under which a 2-dimensional Riemannian curve with two conformal Riemannian metrics is locally symmetric.

Solution of a mixed integer-nonlinear and non-convex optimization problem by convexification methods based on special ordered sets
Mohammad Reza
Ansari
Fatemeh
Hasanifard
This paper presents a convexification method for mixed integer-nonlinear problems (MINLP) that used mathematic approximations based on special ordered sets (SOS) to solve optimization problems. Many of the engineering problems contain binary variables and nonlinear constraints which leading to a MINLP problems. In addition, the objective function and the constraints some of these MINLP problems include non-convex functions. Solving non-convex MINLP problems is challenging and difficult for many algorithms and optimization methods. Economic dispatch with considering alternative current power flow equations (ACED problem) in electrical engineering is One of these problems. The proposed ACED problem in this paper includes both nonlinear and non-convex practical constraints as well as binary variables. As a result, this problem is a complex and non-convex MINLP problem. To solve this problem, a new solution method based on SOS approximation is presented. This method relaxes the nonlinear constraints of the model using a convex linear outer approximation based on the concept of special ordered sets (SOS). To show the effectiveness of the proposed solution method, it is tested on the well-known test systems and compared with several other recently published solution methods. These comparisons confirm the validity of the developed approach.

Convergence theorem for fixed point problems and system of variational inequalities

In this paper we propose and study an implicit composite iterative scheme for the approximation of a fixed point of a continuous pseudocontractive mapping from a closed convex set into itself. The strong convergence of the sequence defined by the iterative sequence is proved, which is also the common unique solution of a system of variational inequalities.
